THE DNA PROJECT OF THE VAKHIYO VALLEY

Upload your result

We do not run the tests ourselves — we accept raw data from any laboratory and bring it to a single format.

Send the file

Fill in the form and attach the file. The editors will check it and add it to the database.

TXT, CSV, ZIP or GZ — raw data from any laboratory, up to 64 MB.

Your name and contact do not reach the public part of the database — only anonymised summaries are published. How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy.

Frequent questions

Which laboratories are suitable?
Any of them. We accept raw data from FamilyTreeDNA, MyHeritage, 23andMe, YSEQ and others. A result from earlier years will do — the format has not changed.
Where do I find the raw data file?
The laboratory’s personal account has a download section: usually a .txt or .csv file, sometimes packed into a .zip. Download it whole and attach it to the form without unpacking.
What reaches the public part?
Only anonymised data: autosomal components, paternal and maternal haplogroups, region. Your name, contact and the file itself do not reach the public part.
Can I have my result deleted?
Yes, at any time. Write to the editors — we will remove the record and the file.
